SYSTEM REFERENCE DOCUMENT 3.5

SRD - About these web pages.

Notes on changes made to the System Reference Document (SRD) as downloaded from the official website

This material was originally downloaded from http://www.wizards.com/D20/ (the original SRD in RTF format can be found here) on the 17th of May 2004.

I have used as the basis for these pages the SRD conversion by theraven & stephenh. The following are the notes they wrote on changes made by them. I added the Monster Gallery using images available at http://www.wizards.com, the search, sorted a couple of dead links, and finally completely changed the formatting of the pages to give a cleaner presentation. I produced my own header and footer bars to give a consistant feel to the whole collection while keeping clear reference to the D20 System.

August 2005

Updated and improved the search to allow search of sections. Still no booleans, but we'll get there one day.

September 2005

Added self-calculating Character sheets for all standard player classes and a self-writing spell book for all standard player class magic users.
These are all MS Excel spreadsheets. All self-calculating fields etc are protected from accidental overwrite, but this protection is not password protected.
If you find any mistakes or omissions you may correct them. These came from an original, but protected single version by the Raven. Since I used his original ideas, and the sheets calculate the same or similar information, many of the formulae will be either identical or similar.

Original Notes:

In general I tried to leave the text unchanged, although I have reorganized it in some places. In addition, some topics were repeated in more than one place, and for some of these I have combined the information in a single place. This generally involved lots of cut and paste and some editing and cleaning up. However all the important original information should still be present

I have however, generated a number of creatures with the Celestial and Fiendish templates applied, and included these. The main reason for this was that the summon monster series of spells can call lots of creatures with one of these two templates applied, and there are no sample creatures with these templates in the SRD. So I applied each of these templates to about 70 or 80 creatures (mostly animals), and have included these. You can find links to lists of these extra creatures by the appropriate template. The summon monster spells also link to them as needed.

In some places however there were clearly mistakes and I have attempted to correct these as listed below (also listed are any other oddities I may have noticed -- subdivided into rough sections now):

Classes (non epic):

Magic Items (non epic):

Spells (non epic):

Monsters (non epic):
